2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the store, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information: name, email, telephone number, billing address and shipping address;
  • Order information: products viewed or purchased, cart activity, order value, returns, exchanges, delivery and tracking details;
  • Payment information: payment status, method and transaction identifiers. Payment providers process full payment credentials, and we generally do not receive complete card details;

  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, cookie or similar identifiers, pages viewed, referring source, approximate location and interactions with the store; and
  • Fraud and security information: signals used to authenticate transactions, prevent abuse and protect the store and customers.

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you, automatically through the website and cookies, and from service providers involved in the transaction, including Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment providers, carriers, tracking services and communication tools.

4. Why we use information

We use personal information to:

  • operate the website and provide requested products and services;
  • process payment, fulfil orders, arrange delivery and provide tracking;
  • handle cancellations, returns, refunds, exchanges and support;
  • authenticate transactions and detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
  • maintain business, tax, accounting and legal records;
  • understand store performance and improve products, content and customer experience;
  • send service messages about orders or accounts; and
  • send marketing email or SMS, or use advertising technologies, where you have provided consent or where otherwise permitted by law.

5. Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you visit or make a purchase, including to provide services based on your interactions with this store, other Shopify merchants and Shopify itself. Because Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may securely combine customer interaction data from this store with data from other Shopify merchants to power enhanced services such as fraud prevention, product improvement, personalization, store performance and advertising measurement or targeting.

Information may be shared with Shopify and service providers located in other countries. Other Shopify merchants cannot directly access our customer data. For details about Shopify's processing and privacy choices, review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

6. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to:

  • Shopify, which hosts the storefront, checkout and related commerce services;
  • Airwallex and other payment or fraud-prevention providers used at checkout;
  • SP Lite – SMART Dropshipping and other order fulfilment or sourcing providers;
  • 17TRACK, carriers and logistics providers for shipment tracking and delivery;
  • Essential Cart Drawer and Messaging for cart functionality and customer communications;
  • Google Ads and related Google measurement technologies for conversion measurement, campaign performance and advertising when enabled, subject to applicable consent choices;
  • professional advisers, insurers, auditors and authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required; and
  • a purchaser or successor in connection with a legitimate sale, merger or restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not disclose personal information to another party simply for that party's unrelated direct marketing without consent.

7. Marketing communications

We send commercial email or SMS only with consent or another lawful basis. Messages identify the sender and include a working unsubscribe method. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP where supported, or emailing info@fixnium.com. Service messages necessary for an order are not marketing messages.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential store functions, preferences, performance, analytics and advertising. Non-essential technologies are managed through our cookie controls where consent is required. More information is available in our Cookie Policy.

9. Consent and your choices

Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw it, subject to reasonable notice and legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing a service that requires the information. You can manage non-essential cookie choices through the store's cookie banner or browser settings and can manage certain Shopify processing choices through the Shopify Privacy Portal linked above.

10. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to complete transactions, provide support, prevent fraud, meet tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and comply with law. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it, subject to lawful backup and record-retention requirements.

11. International processing

We and our service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, the European Union and other jurisdictions where our providers operate. Information processed outside your province or Canada may be subject to the laws and lawful access procedures of that jurisdiction. We use contractual and organizational measures appropriate to the circumstances when engaging providers.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

13. Access, correction and other privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask how it has been used or disclosed, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent, or request deletion where a deletion right applies. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information that law requires or permits us to keep.

Send requests or privacy complaints to info@fixnium.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within the period required by applicable law, generally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the privacy regulator responsible for your province or territory or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

14. Children

The store is intended for adults who can legally enter into a purchase contract. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children for independent use of the store.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our practices, service providers or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
